CAS meets from 7:30 - 9:00 P.M. on the third Thursday of each month in the Math and Science Building (labeled 15 on the map) of Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN. The public is always welcome.
PLEASE NOTE: Our February 2012 and March 2012 Public Star Parties will be held at the field house on the cqmpus of VOL STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE which is labeled #13 on the map below. Viewing begins at sunset weather permitting - which means it is not raining and it is not completely overcast. Click the map below for a larger, printable image of the VOL STATE Campus.
We usually decide by 5:00 P.M. if the star party will take place. If you have questions or if you're unsure if weather will permit viewing, please call Karma Gardner at 615-785-7104 or Allen Ball at 615-210-9252.
Starting in April, our Public Star Parties will once again be held at Bledsoe Creek State Park. Viewing begins at sunset and as always is weather permitting (see definition above).

Exit off Greenlea Blvd, and turn left on Enterprise Dr.
Take the next right, which is the "back" entrance to Vol State
Take a right, and then another right.
The Field Station is at the end of that road.
From Nashville Pike:
Turn into campus at the main entrance (with the big sign).
Take your first left.
Take your next left between the parking lot and the tennis courts.
